Trial request information
We collect your verified sign-in email, full name, country, state or province, optional X handle, confirmation that you are 18 or older, agreement to the Terms, Privacy Policy and research disclaimer, the agreed versions and time, and a separate optional email-marketing choice. We record the request time, review status and trial decision to administer access. The form does not ask for a card, street address, birth date or telephone number.
Purpose and choices
We use this information to review your request, administer your trial and answer account questions. The optional updates-and-offers checkbox is separate from trial agreement and starts unchecked. Declining it does not prevent a trial request. You may ask us to stop optional marketing. This feature does not automatically send marketing email.
Security verification
We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our sign-in/create-account entry and trial form to detect automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical signals, including IP address and browser/connection information, for this security check. Our server receives and verifies a short-lived challenge token; we do not save that token in your trial record or use it for marketing. We also check your verified email domain against a list of temporary email providers; these requests go to manual review. To help review repeat trial requests, we turn your network IP address and a randomly generated first-party browser cookie into keyed matching codes and store those codes with a reference to your trial request, the date and time, and the automatic-review outcome and reasons. We do not store your raw IP address or the raw cookie value in this trial-security record. The cookie lasts up to one year unless you remove it; it identifies that browser, not a person or a physical device. This record does not contain a hardware identifier or a detailed device fingerprint. Removing the cookie does not erase codes already stored in trial-security history. We keep the codes for repeat-use review; contact us about correction or deletion. We do not use these trial-security signals for marketing. Shared networks or browsers, missing signals, earlier trials and the daily automatic-approval limit lead to human review rather than automatic rejection. Historical trials may lack matching signals. Service operation
Sign-in and hosting providers, including Auth0 and Cloudflare, process account and technical information to operate and protect the service. Existing account, session, consent and report-request records support member access. Separate activity counters contain daily totals rather than an identity or IP trail; this does not mean hosting providers collect no technical information. Provider logging and retention depend on the actual configured service.
Access, retention and deletion
Trial requests are stored privately for account review and administration. Access should be limited to authorized operators and service providers supporting that work. Ask us to review, correct or delete your request/account information using your verified email. We may need to retain limited information for security or legal reasons and will explain applicable limits. Contact us for the retention and deletion information applicable to your request, including any security or legal limits.
